Al Quran : Jo beemar ho ya safar mein ho to dusray dinon mein roza (rakh kar) un ka shumar poora karle

Al Quran : Ramadan ka maheena jis mein Quran nazil huwa, jo logon ka rehnuma hai aur ( jis mein ) hidayat ki khuli nishaniya hain aur (jo haq aur baatil ko) alag alag karne wala hai, to jo koi tum mein se is mahine mein mojood ho (usko) chahiye ke poore mahine ke roze rakhe.

Aur jo beemar ho ya safar mein ho to dusray dinon mein (rakh kar) un ka shumar poora karle. Allah tumhare haq mein aasani chahta hai aur sakhti nahi chahta aur (yeh aasani ka hukum) is liye (diya gaya hai) ke tum rozon ka shumaar poora karlo aur is ahsaan ke badle ke Allah ne tum ko Hadayat bakhsh hai tum uski badhayee bayan karo
Surah Al-Baqarah(2), Verse 185

Al Quran : The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Saum (fasts) that month.

And whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number [of days which one did not observe Saum (fasts) must be made up] from other days. Allah intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you. (He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allah for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him.
Surah Al-Baqarah(2), Verse 185
