Zirr bin Habaish Radi Allahu Anhu kahte hai ki maine Abi bin kaab Radi Allahu Anhu se pucha ki tumhare bhai ibn Masood Radi Allahu Anhu kahte hain ki jo saal bhar (ibadat ke liye) barabar jagega wo shab e qar pa lega to unhone kaha Allah rahmat kare un par unhone ye isliye kaha kyunki log kahi ek hi raat par bharosa na kar le (bulki hamesha ibadat karte rahe) aur wo achchi tarah jante hain ki wo Ramzan mein hai aur aakhri ashre mein hai aur wo 27 raat ko hai phir wo us par qasam khate they aur in sha Allah bhi nahi kahte (yani unhe aisa pukhta yakeen tha 27 ki shab e qadr hone par) aur wo shab qadr 27 ko hai , to maine unse pucha ki eh abu munzir aap kaise ye dawa karte ho unhone kaha ki ye ek nishani ki wajah se jo Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam ne humko batayee thi aur wo ye hai ki uski (shab e qadr ki) subah ka jo aaftab nikalta hai to usmein shuaa (kirnein) nahi hoti
(magar ye nishani zawal e shab ke bad ke bad zahir hoti hai)

Zirr bin Habaish Radi Allahu Anhu reported I thu asked Ubayy bin Ka'b Radi Allahu Anhu Your brother (in faith) Ibn Mas'ud Radi Allahu Anhu says He who stands (for the night prayer) throughout the year would find Lailat-ul-Qadr, whereupon he said: May Allah have mercy upon him; (he said these words) with the intention that people might not rely only (on one night), whereas he knew that it (Lailat-ul-Qadr) is in the month of Ramadan and it is the twenty-seventh night. He then took oath (without making any exception, i. e. without saying In sha Allah) that it was the twenty-seventh night. I said to him: Abu Mundhir, on what ground do you say that? Thereupon he said: By the indication or by the sign which the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave us, and that is that on that day (the sun) would rise without having any ray in it.

Hazrat Ubada radi allahu anhu se rivayat hai ki Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya shab e Qadr Ramazan ke mahine ke akahri ashremein hoti hai jo shakhs is ka sawab hasil karne ke liye un mein qiyam kere to Allah is ke agle pichle sare gunah maaf farma dega aur ye taaq raton mein hoti hai yani Aakhri ashre ki 9, 7, 5, 3, ya aakhri raat ( yani 29,27,25,23,21) aur farmaya ke shab e qader ki nishani ye hai ke wo raat roshan aur chamakdar hoti hai is mein chand ki roshni bhi khoob ujli hoti hai, wo raat pur-sukun aur gehri (mautadil) hoti hai Ye raat na garm hoti hai na thandi hoti hai, is raat mein subah tak sitare tod kar nahi maare jate, is ki nishani ye bhi hai ke is ki subah ko jab Sooraj roshan hota hai to woh seedha barabar nikalta hai jaise chodwee ka chaand hota hai aur (subah ke waqt) is ki koi shuaa (kiran) nahi hoti aur is din shaitan ke liye Sooraj ke sath niklana mana hota hai.

Muwatta Malik Hadith 16-SahihRasool-Allah Sallallahu Alahih Wasallam was shown the lifespans of the people (who had gone) before him, or what Allah willed of that, and it was as if the lives of the people of his community had become too short for them to be able to do as many good actions as others before them had been able to do with their long lives, so Allah gave him Laylat al- Qadr, which is better than a thousand months.
