 Naya kapda pahanne ki dua

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim  

Abu Said Khudri Radi Allahu Anhu se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam ne farmaya Jab kabhi Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam naya kapda pahanate to to ye dua farmate

   اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ 

Allahumma lakal-hamdu Anta kasawtaneeh, asaluka min khayrihi wa khayri maa suneeaa lahu, wa awuzubika min sharrihi wa sharri ma suneea lahu. Eh Allah tamama tarif tere liye hai tune hi mujhe ye kapda pahnaya aur tujh se hi main iski khair ka talabgar hu aur jis maqsad ke liye ye kapda banaya gaya hai uski bhi khair ka talabgar hu aur iske shar (burayee) se aur jis shark e liye ye banaya gaya hai us shar se teri panah maangta hu.

 Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri Radi allahu anhu When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) put on a new garment he would say:  اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ O Allah, praise be to you ! as you hast clothed me with it, I ask you for its good and the good of that for which it was made, and I seek refuge in you from its evil and the evil of that for which it was made.

#Gratitude: Expressing thankfulness to Allah for clothing.
#Dua: Referring to the supplication made while wearing new clothes.
#Barakah: Seeking blessings and goodness in the garment.
#Protection: Asking for protection from any harm associated with the clothing.
